Counselling & Psychotherapy for Adults

I offer individual psychotherapy tailored to your unique path of self-exploration and healing. Using a client-centered and integrative approach, I work alongside you, meeting you where you are. My goal is to support you in connecting with your most authentic version of you while deepening your understanding of your relationships—with yourself and others.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, relational challenges, or past experiences that continue to affect you, I aim to support you in gaining insight and moving forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.

— MY APPROACH

My approach is integrative, blending relational, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based modalities to help you understand deep-rooted patterns, develop self-awareness, and inspire transformative growth. In our first sessions, we'll explore what brought you to therapy by delving into past experiences, current challenges and inner narratives. Together, we'll create a space for you to broaden your self-understanding, process deep emotions, and build a stronger sense of security and stability. Using evidence-based approaches, I strive to create a safe and supportive space for you to navigate life’s challenges, gain insight, and build resilience. We’ll work together so you can better understand your inner world, strengthen your coping skills, and create meaningful change in your life.

Initial consultation

Your journey toward well-being begins with an initial consultation. This 20-minute chat is a chance for us to discuss your needs and goals, ask any questions you might have, and see if we’re a good match for working together. There’s no pressure—it’s simply an opportunity to explore my approach and discover how therapy might support you. The consultation is offered virtually or by phone.

  • Deciding whether to start therapy can bring up a lot of questions. “Do I really need this?” “Are my struggles even worth discussing?” It’s natural to feel uncertain, hesitant, or even nervous about taking this step. With this in mind, I not only validate these concerns, but I encourage you all the more to reach out —often, these very feelings suggest that therapy could be beneficial. For some, it may be their first time exploring therapy. My hope is that you feel supported in our work together.

  • A typical therapy session lasts 50 minutes. However, a 75-minute session is also available for individuals with a particular issue to discuss who would benefit from additional time for deeper exploration.

  • In the beginning, sessions are typically scheduled weekly. Over time, as therapy progresses, sessions may transition to a bi-weekly or monthly basis, depending on your needs.

  • Sessions must be cancelled with at least 48-hours notice to avoid being charged. Sessions that are cancelled less than 24-hours before the scheduled session time or are missed completely will incur a charge of the full session fee.

  • While psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP, most extended health care insurance benefits cover some or all of the cost of services. Please consult with your provider to determine coverage and for more information.
